IT Project Audit Methodology
Speedware's proven audit methodology consists of three distinct phases: the audit, analysis and design, and recommendations. In addition to these, Speedware offers optional audit service components designed to enrich the benefits of the process for the customer.
Audit phase As an integral component of the audit phase, Speedware's audit team will interview key project stakeholders. When required, we will analyze the code inventory and an examination and audit of the technical architecture will be performed.
Analysis and design Speedware's team members have a wealth of experience that allows them to quickly and thoroughly understand all technical aspects of your project. During this phase of the project audit service, the audit team will perform an in-depth code analysis, solution architecting and research. The project audit team will also examine key findings and recommendations and perform a risk-benefit analysis of significant project deviation recommendations.
Recommendations Speedware's project audit team will dig deep into your project details to get the information that matters, resulting in the creation of deliverables during the final phase of Speedware's project audit methodology. The deliverables can be either interim or final, with interim deliverables being produced weekly and final deliverables presented at the completion of the project audit.
Interim deliverables include:
- Weekly project status reports
- Weekly project status presentations to stakeholders
Final deliverables include:
- Project audit report - provides a health assessment of the project, key findings and recommendations and, when applicable, strategic go-forward options.
- Audit presentation - consisting of a PowerPoint presentation of the project audit results.
Optional deliverables are also available and include documentation, pricing and effort estimation.
